Welcome to the Posey Humane Society website. The Posey Humane Society (PHS) is a 501(C) organization that serves Posey County in southern Indiana.

PHS News & Updates

• Come visit us at River Days at the Mt.Vernon Riverfront, Sept 10 - 11. We will be selling corn dogs, puppy chow and other goodies. We will be at Petsmarts for the Fall Adoptathon that same weekend.
  
• Look for additional information posted here about our Tails & Trails Dog Walk to be held on October 23rd at New Harmony State Park.
  
• PHS will have a booth at Kunstfest, Sept 18 - 19 in New Harmony and at Poseyville Autumnfest Sept 25th - 26th.
• Currently the shelter is full to capacity. We are not able to accept more animals until we find homes for some that we are already housing. If you have an animal you need to surrender, please call ahead to see if there is any space available.
